The Birdsynth
One LA HOULE is used as a stepped and smooth function generator. It als ouses one of his clock outputs to HOLD the second LA HOULE that is used as a Additive VCO. The DCS is also used here to ad some VC controlled spice to even harmonics. THe EVEN harmonic output goes through METALOT running the SYMBIOTE firmware.

The Octave Kitten is back to the owner after a full service and lots of TLC. All but one slider had to be dismantled and restored. Cap replacement where needed and one OSC down due to a bad 3046. 😻
The 285 is a must have module in your Buchla rig. I used an interview with Don Buchla talking about the acid test at NASA back in the time.
First part is the frequency shifter outputting sum and difference. Second part is the Ring modulator outputting variable and ring.

« From everything, there will remain 3 things: the certainty that everything was beginning, the certainty that it had to continue, the certainty that it would be interrupted before it was finished. To make the interruption a new path, to make the fall a dance step, to make fear a staircase, a dream a bridge, research....... an encounter. » Fernanda Pessoa

Raoul P. aka Papazorgl, is an electronic folklore project. A curious fascination for strange sounds, attracted by a tickling sensation in the brain, somewhere between fear and wonder. The joy of manipulating analog synths, of weaving sounds that seem alive. The flute and bells resonate like an imaginary traditional dance, evoking folk scenes that whisper like distant songs, lost somewhere in the folds of memory. Meetings and collaborations with friends of & Co around the Tone Burst label form a scattered collective of friendly noise, united by a common passion for spontaneous music created with strange analog synths. In short, a pleasure to play the telephone switchboard with its cables developed over the albums with lots of collaboration, including an album with friend Tac who reads his poems accompanied by springs (among others).
