The DCLOCK is a high-density, fully discrete dual signal generator designed for the 4U environment. By utilizing transistor-based circuitry rather than integrated chips, the DCLOCK provides an organic, “heavy” character to both its rhythmic timing and audio-rate waveforms.

With a wide frequency range and 1V/Octave tracking, it serves as the rhythmic heart or a melodic voice for a compact 4U system.

Interface Guide

The DCLOCK features two identical vertical sections, each optimized with a specific waveform:

Top Section: Square Wave Core

Function: Ideal for master clocking, triggering sequencers, and logic modules.
OUT: High-state pulse/square output.
CV IN: 1V/Octave frequency control.
Frequency Knob: Manual rate control (5Hz to 8KHz).

Bottom Section: Triangle Wave Core

Function: Ideal for smooth LFO modulation, melodic basslines, and FM synthesis.
OUT: Triangle wave output.
CV IN: 1V/Octave frequency control.
Frequency Knob: Manual rate control (5Hz to 8KHz).
